11.00 a.m. the opening of the event – greeting visitors by Dr. Wojciech Woźniak, the Library Director;
11.05 a.m. prof. dr hab. Kazimierz Tomala’s speech, Vice-Rector for Development;
11.15 a.m. presentation of the NBP collector’s coin “The Great Polish economists – Władysław Grabski” by Ms Ewa Waszkiewicz, Director of the NBP Regional Branch in Warsaw.

11.45 a.m. – 12.10 p.m. prof. dr hab. Marian Marek Drozdowski – “Władysław Grabski’s contribution to the Polish economic and political culture”

The event is accompanied by an exhibition entitled “A self-portrait of the Polish Zloty. Images of the Polish banknotes and coins from 1919 – 1924”, prepared by the SGGW Museum
in cooperation with the NBP.
The exhibition consists of over a dozen boards presenting banknotes and treasury bills that were used after the introduction of Grabski’s currency reform, along with a short description of their history.
The exhibition will be available to the visitors between 21 April and 21 May 2022.
