WePoint – a new point on the SGGW campus
WePoint – Welcome to SGGW is now available at the SGGW Main Library. It is a new organizational unit of the International Relations Office. WePoint serves as a support for international students who start their studies at SGGW.
As we are living in a globalized world, the internationalization of universities and science is a fact – at SGGW we know it perfectly well, that is why we constantly improve the quality of our services. In order to meet the needs of the growing number of foreigners in our Alma Mater, a dedicated point of contact was established.
The main objective of WePoint is to provide support to foreigners starting their stay at our university and in Poland and to act for the international and intercultural integration of the academic community. Thanks to a team of experts, the statutory goals are implemented not only in terms of content but also with genuine openness, kindness and commitment – so important in international relations.
WePoint is located in the heart of our campus – in the SGGW Main Library building.
The official opening of WePoint was attended by our students from around the world, university authorities and employees, representatives of embassies and the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).
The traditional ribbon cutting was performed by: prof. dr hab. Michał Zasada, Rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, dr hab. Marta Mendel, Vice-rector for International Cooperation, and dr Dawid Kostecki – Director of the National Agency for Academic Exchange.
