The Young Scientists Council chaired by dr Olga Witkowska-Piłaszewicz
The SGGW researcher has been appointed the Chairman of the Young Scientists Council by the Minister of Education and Science
The main goal of the Young Scientists Council is to identify and eliminate barriers to young career development.
Dr Olga Witkowska-Pilaszewicz received numerous honors during her studies, including the Minister of Science and Higher Education scholarships for outstanding achievements and as an outstanding young scientist in 2020. Her research work focuses on exercise physiology and physiopathology. She has written numerous publications in prestigious foreign journals and has been the manager of national and international projects awarded by the National Science Center (NCN) and the National Center for Research and Development (NCBiR). She has presented her papers at many conferences both nationally and internationally (Australia, Switzerland, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Denmark, Thailand, and Taiwan), including a lecture at the World Veterinary Association Congress (WVAC). She has participated in many international internships (USA, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Malta), including the University of California, Davis, USA, ranked among the world’s top higher education institutions according to QS Rankings. Her interests also include veterinary education development (The European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE) expert), whereas as a veterinary doctor, she mainly deals with internal diseases of companion animals (with a special focus on Endocrinology and Hematology).
