SGGW is the oldest and largest Polish university of life sciences. It is an innovative scientific center where research into renewable energy sources, sustainable animal production, and intelligent and ecological agriculture has been conducted for years. In the coming years, the construction of an Environmental Education Centre for Renewable Energy Sources (RES) is planned at the Obory Agricultural Experimental Station. The facility is intended for scientific and educational purposes.
SGGW Rector exchanged a letter of intent with representatives of the Danish delegation, under which SGGW and GreenFarm, a company specializing in energy equipment and solutions, will establish their collaboration.
The collaboration between Polish and Danish companies, and knowledge exchange on research into biogas production and limiting the negative effects of livestock production on the environment, represented the main focus for all meeting participants. The companies’ representatives had the opportunity to discuss and get to know each other’s business profiles. The talks were attended by King Frederick X and Jacob Jensen, Minister for Agriculture, Food and Fisheries of Denmark.
