The Review of Scientific Achievements of SGGW Student Scientific Circles
Thirty student scientific circles, 183 papers, 242 presenters, 3 poster sessions, and 10 paper sessions, including sessions conducted in English. These numerical figures reflect the largest scientific event organized by students of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, which took place on 8 December.
The organizers of this year’s event were: the Foresters’ Scientific Circle, the Student’s Photography Circle, and the Student’s Scientific Circle of Spatial Economy.
During the conference, which was streamed on the Science SGGW YouTube channel, the Vice-Rector for Didactics, prof. Jarosław Gołębiewski, addressed young researchers, emphasizing the significance of scientific circles: ‘The activities within scientific circles constitute an important stage that prepares individuals for an academic career. This is a stage where students delve into the secrets and allure of scientific work, preparing themselves for future doctoral studies and engaging in scientific endeavors.
Vice-Rector Jarosław Gołębiewski also wished the participants fruitful deliberations and hoped that their presentations would earn recognition from the evaluation committees.
The conference was interdisciplinary, and conducted through parallel thematic sessions. This year’s Review of Scientific Achievements of the Student Scientific Circles enabled the submission of research, projects, or review papers in 3 poster sessions and 10 paper sessions, including, sessions conducted in English.
