The Quiet Corner [Cichy Zakątek] at the Faculty of Economics
The Quiet Corner, a student relaxation zone, was opened at the Faculty of Economics SGGW under the ‘Kampus SGGW 2030’ contest
The Quiet Corner [Cichy Zakątek] is located in building 6 at the SGGW Campus. Students can find a space to relax between classes. It is also possible to prepare and eat a meal there.
The Quiet Corner [Cichy Zakątek] is a project launched by the Interdepartmental Tourism Science Circle, Faculty of Economics. The students received funding for the implementation of that idea after winning the first edition of the university’s ‘Kampus SGGW 2030’ contest. The competition is intended to provide financial support for ideas, the implementation of which will have a positive impact on the functioning and development of the university campus.
The following projects are to be implemented besides the Quiet Corner zone:
- A micro-scale chemistry laboratory for high school students, organised by Interdepartmental Science Circle “Green Chemistry”;
- The cycling infrastructure within the SGGW campus, Interdepartmental Tourism Science Circle;
- “WaterWise”, a project aimed at analysing and optimising the process of watering SGGW Campus lawns, by the “SPACER’ Robotics Science Circle.
