The Constructor’s Day at SGGW
More than a dozen exhibitors from the construction industry, lectures and discussion panels, poster sessions, team-building games, a photo competition and a ‘Let’s build a tower’ competition were just some of the attractions prepared by the students of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering for the 11th edition of the Constructor’s Day.
This year’s event promotes the idea of ecology in the construction industry. “Sustainable Construction vs. Human Environment” was the theme of panel discussions and poster sessions prepared by students.
The Constructor’s Day is an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, make contacts and learn about the latest trends and innovations in the construction industry. Thanks to the presence of construction companies operating both nationally and internationally, students attending the event had the opportunity to learn not only about the latest solutions used in civil engineering practice but also about internship opportunities and job prospects in the participating companies.
The Constructor’s Day has been held at the SGGW Water Centre for many years. Students from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering science clubs, Koło Młodych PZITB, and Engineering Construction were responsible for the event organisation.
