How will qualification for first-level and single master's courses work?
After creating an account with SOK, the candidate indicates the qualification subjects and selects the field of study. After receiving the results of the baccalaureate, it introduces the results from the indicated subjects to the SOK.
On the basis of the results entered and the ranking lists created for each field of study, the Selection Board decides on the number of persons and the minimum number of points eligible for admission to a given field of study. The committee’s decision is reflected in the candidate’s status.
A candidate who creates a recruitment account and selects a field of study receives the status of “registered“.
After qualification, the following statuses are possible:
“Qualified” – a candidate invited to confirm that he/she has studied at SGGW and submitted documents;
“The next stage?” – a candidate who has not obtained the number of points to submit documents and to be accepted in the first stage.
A candidate who hasobtainedthe status of “qualified” and decides to study at the SGGW within the time limit set in the recruitment timeline:
- Completes missing data in SOK (high school graduated),
- Includes a scan of the baccalaureate certificate,
- Includes digital photography in SOK
- It confirms, on the home page of the candidate’s administration panel in SOK, the readiness to study and submit documents with the CONFIRM button.
- The status of the candidate in the SOK after confirmation changes to “pending adoption“
The next step for a candidate with “pending acceptance” status is to provide the required documents to SGGW:
- the original of the certificate of maturity or a notarized copy of the original certificate of maturity.
- generated from sok, printed and signed Personal Survey/Application for admission to college
- paper photography
- a photocopy of the usual first page of the high school graduation certificate.
Documents can be sent by post, sent by courier, in extreme situations delivered in person within the time limit indicated in the recruitment calendar. A candidate who confirms his/her readiness to study and provide the required documents within the specified period shall be granted accepted status.
The Selection Board shall, after being confirmed as being in conformity with the original of the completed copy of the certificate of maturity, in accordance with the candidate’s instructions indicated for the transmission of the documents:
- return the original of the certificate of maturity to the address given in the SOK or the address indicated by the candidate when the documents are sent, or
- keep the original certificate in the briefcase of the candidate, which the candidate may collect in the dean’s course after the commencement of his studies.
Candidate with status “qualified ” whodoes not confirm in the time limit indicated in the calendar the readiness to study and submit documents and a candidate who confirms his readiness to study and submit documents (“pending adoption“) and does not provide these documents within the time limit specified in the recruitment calendar will receive after the expiry of this period the status of resignation no documents.
If a candidate with resignation status does not have documents, he/she will change his/her mind and wants to proceed to the second stage of qualification – for the remaining vacancies after the first stage – he/she should again use the selection tab of the field of study, confirm the choice of direction and thus obtain the “registered” status again on his/her training horses.
On the basis of the number of candidates with status accepted in each field of study, the Selection Board will announce the number of vacancies for the second stage within the time limit specified in the recruitment calendar. The second stage will be carried out in a manner analogous to the first stage.
Those with accepted status will be entered on the student list.
Where can I find lists of accepted (qualified) students?
SGGW publishes information about the admission / eligibility of a candidate for studies in the Candidate Service System. The candidate will find one of the messages in the status field (always highlighted in red):
- “qualified” – the candidate has been qualified for admission and should complete the information in the SOK within the prescribed period and provide documents;
- “The next stage?” – the candidate has not been eligible for admission at the current stage. After selecting the option “I participate in the next stage” or re-selecting / changing the field of study and changing the status to “registered“ can apply for admission in the next stage. Only candidates with “registered” status take part in the subsequent stages ofrecruitment;
- “pending admission” – the candidate who has been qualified, completed the information, entered the photo, and confirmed his readiness to submit documents and study at SGGW – This candidate must provide the required documents, including the original baccalaureate certificate (notarial copy) to the Selection Board, in order to obtain accepted status.
- “adopted…” – the candidate has been qualified and has submitted a set of required documents within the time limit provided for in the recruitment timeline.
Information on the number of points with which candidates were qualified at a given stage of recruitment for each field of study (so-called “thresholds”) is published in the Candidate Service System in the tab “Admission thresholds, vacancies”.
I got an empty qualification message. What to do about it?
A large number of emails sent to candidates may be identified as spam by some spam filters. The candidate should check the appropriate folder in the e-mail box, as well as his status in the Candidate Service System, the messages posted on the recruitment website and a table with the minimum score required at a given stage of recruitment.
In the field where the message "registered" was so far, it is now written "qualified". Does this mean that I have been qualified?
Highlighted in red in the “status” field, the message “qualified” indicates that the candidate has been qualified for admission. He will be accepted for the chosen direction provided that the formal conditions are met: confirmation in sok of readiness to study at SGGW and transmission in accordance with the communication of the University Recruitment Commission and within the required deadlines (recruitment timeline) a set of documents that agree in terms of data with the information entered by the candidate in the SOK form.
How many seats are left after the basic qualification? Where and when will the vacancy information appear?
Information about vacancies is given at the end of a given stage in the Candidate Service System in the Admission Thresholds tab, vacancies or in the form of advertisements on the recruitment website. The number of vacancies for each direction is entered into the system at the end of the submission period of the previous stage. These deadlines are given in the recruitment calendar.
Can I apply for the same or different field of study in supplementary recruitment?
So. Candidates may apply for the same or different field of study within the vacancies. Only candidates with “registered” status take part in the next stages ofrecruitment.
In the field where the message "registered" was so far, it says "next stage". What does that mean? Can I submit documents?
The “next stage” message means that the candidate has earned too few SGGW points to be qualified for the current recruitment phase. However, he still has a chance to qualify for admission in the qualifiers. To participate in them, log in to SOK and select the option “Iparticipate in the nextstage ” – on the date when it is possible (after entering the free seats to the SOK after the end of the previousstage). The status will then change back to“registered”. Participation in the supplementary qualifications takes place as part of the recruitment fee already paid. In supplementary recruitment it is possible to change the field of study for which the candidate wishes to be accepted. Only candidates with “registered” status take part in the next stages of recruitment.
How do complementary qualifications work?
Candidates with the status of “next stage?” in the directions where there are vacancies,a gray button “I participate in the next stage” is available. After selecting this button, the status of the candidate in this direction will change to “registered” – allowing participation in the supplementary qualification in this direction.
Candidates with the status of“next stage?” in directions for which there are no vacancies gray button “I participate in the next stage” is not available, because the next stage will not be carried out. However, this candidate may participate in the qualification for a different direction in which the seats will be vacant.
Any candidate may change the direction for which he/she wishes to be qualifiedin the next stage, provided that the sok shows the vacancies for the supplementary qualification. You can change direction by selecting the “1st. + jm – baccalaureate results, choice of direction” – under the table with baccalaureate results you need to mark the selected direction and at the end under the directions save the changes (gray button),
A new “ranking” tab has appeared in the menu. What is it used for and why is my ranking changing so quickly?
The “ranking” tab appears in the SOK to candidates who participate in the supplementary qualifications. There, the candidate can see in which directions available to him (according to the subjects passed on the baccalaureate) there are still vacancies and what is his position on the ranking lists of each of these directions. Guided by this information, the candidate may change his or her choice of direction several times. The selected direction, highlighted in red, will be the one for which the candidate will be eligible in the next stage. Using the information in the ranking tab is most effective at the end of registration/direction selection at a given stage.
Why is my ranking changing so fast?
A candidate who has not been qualified to study at the completed stage, with the opening of the next stage, receives the status of “next stage“. To participate, select “I’mtaking part in the next stage” or re-select the study direction and confirm the changes. From that point on, the candidate regains the status of “registered”and is taken into account when creating ranking lists (position in the ranking tab). The result of this action and the changes made by all candidates who decide to enter the next stage is the rapidly changing position of the candidate in the rankings.
In the “ranking” tab it says that the number of free seats in the direction chosen above me is zero. I have a ranking in this direction position 35, and in another direction where the number of vacancies is 25 I have a position 3. If I change direction, will I be accepted and able to file documents?
Using the “Ranking” tab, a candidate can change their preferred field of study based on information about vacancies and their rankings on the dates indicated in the calendar (in the supplementary qualification 8-10 September). The system is then shut down for the duration of the qualification and status changes. After the qualification, the candidate obtains the appropriate status and, if it is a “qualified” status, he/she should follow the steps specified for that status and submit the documents.
I have not been qualified/qualified for admission to a part-time course course, and I want to apply for free places in part-time studies. When do I need to change my form of study at SOK?
This must be done within the time limit specified in the recruitment calendar for supplementary recruitment
I have been qualified/qualified for college, but I want to study in a different field. What can I do?
If a candidate has been accepted or accepted for college but would like to study in a different field, he/she may apply for admission to this field as part of the vacancies in the subsequent stages of recruitment, if such places are indicated. To this end, it should:
- log in to SOK and cancel your acceptance by selecting the “I am not studying… ” and confirm your resignation. His status will then change to“resignation”;
- select the tab “1st. + jm – baccalaureate results, choice of direction“, select in the form of interest the field of study on which the vacancies are shown, and then confirm with the button at the end of the page “save changes“. He will then be reinstated to “registered”status and will take part in the recruitment for a new direction of his chosen name.
Please be careful and reasonable with such changes. Sometimes a candidate fails to qualify for a new field of study. However, returning to a vacant place is no longer possible other than by re-going through the recruitment process. In 2020, only two stages are carried out, so resignation in the first stage and insufficient number of points in the second stage lead to non-accepted studies in SGGW.
I have chosen to opt out of the system, but I would like to take part in the next qualifiers. Do I need to register again?
If the status field displays “resignation” and the candidate still wants to apply for admission to college, he should select the tab “1st. + jm – baccalaureate results, selection of direction“, select the selected direction (if there are free places on it) and save the changes. He then re-enters the “registered“ status and takes part in the next stage of qualification for the direction of his or her chosen direction. This is the so-called re-registration.
In the red box, I get the message "Resignation. No documents", and I want to take part in the next stages of recruitment. What should I do?
The communication means that the candidate was qualified to submit documents in the previous stage of recruitment, confirmed his readiness to study at SGGW but did not submit them within the specified time limit and thus gave up his/her place. If you still want to apply for admission to college, you should select the tab “1st. + jm – baccalaureate results, selection of direction“, select the selected direction (if there are free places on it) and save the changes. It then acquires “registered”status and participates in the next stage of qualification.
