Studying abroad
Studying abroad gives an opportunity for scientific, linguistic, and intercultural development. Young people coming from 23 countries on 4 continents – Europe, Asia, Africa and America, decided to develop their knowledge at SGGW, one of the leading academic centres.
Why SGGW? Why did they choose to study at SGGW?
There are a number of factors to take into account when choosing the university, such as personal interests, a university’s offer, its reputation and position in the global academic environment. Considering world’s rankings, every year the SGGW’s ratings get better. the data are based on measurable and objective indicators, determined by a consensus of the scientific community. Therefore, it is possible to compare and classify not only the universities in general but also given fields of study.
When choosing to study at SGGW, students from all over the world indicate factors that were important to them, and here they are:

- accommodation on campus -SGGW is a unique university, all our international students have been accommodated in the SGGW dormitories,

SGGW – the involved university
SGGW is constantly improving the quality of services provided to incoming and outgoing students, supporting the process of internationalization of teaching and learning through participation in mobility projects.
In June 2021, the WePoint Welcome to SGGW service point for international students was established. It deals with the organization of training, adaptation workshops and Orientation Week, and actively cooperates with the ESN section supporting foreigners in their daily functioning.
The official opening of “WePoint” will take place on October 18, 2022.
