BEFORE ARRIVAL
NOSTRIFICATION
Before applying for a position at the SGGW, make sure that your degree is recognized in Poland by completing a nostrification process.
Please bear in mind that providing a recognition statement is a necessary step when applying for a certain job offers. You will find more on the process on the website of the National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA. Here you can also look up general information about types of diplomas obtained abroad and verify how a certain type of diploma is recognized in Poland. In order to do so, use KWALIFIKATOR database.

It allows to move freely within the Schengen area up to 90 days in the 180-day period.
- national visa (type “D”) for the purpose of work (06). During application process you will need to provide an invitation letter describing the conditions of your employment.
