SGGW’s success in the NAWA Welcome to Poland competition
SGGW was among the honorable group of 32 Beneficiaries of the Program, whose projects were selected by NAWA from 188 submitted applications.
The project will be implemented from September 01, 2024 to August 31, 2026. The aim of the project is to increase the potential of SGGW in receiving and serving foreign scientific and teaching staff. The planned activities are aimed at attracting researchers from outside Poland and include, among others, a development path and enhancement of the competencies of management staff, expansion of the training base for all university employees to include topics related to diversity, and online activities aimed at promoting SGGW as an attractive place to work and research activities in the area of life-sciences. The project also envisages the development of the Welcome Point by implementing standards of service for scientists at the level recommended by EURAXESS.
By the decision of the National Agency for Academic Exchange, SGGW has been awarded funding in the amount of 453,423.92 PLN for the project Internationalization of SGGW: Attracting Foreign Talents under the Welcome to Poland 2023 program.
The competitive application was prepared by the International Cooperation Office team in cooperation with the Human Resources and Payroll Office.
