SGGW will provide hotel management courses jointly with Polski Holding Hotelowy
On 2 February 2024, a cooperation agreement between SGGW and Polski Holding Hotelowy was signed at the Faculty of Economics, SGGW
The agreement was initiated by the Faculty of Economics. As part of the cooperation, PHH, as a partner in educational activities, will engage in activities aimed at developing skills in the hotel and tourism industry and enhancing learning outcomes within that field.
The Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) is a dynamically developing academic centre with a high reputation and interest among young people and teaching staff at both national and international levels, valued for its care and quality of education, openness to change and rapid growth.
We are very pleased to have signed a cooperation agreement with Polski Holding Hotelowy, the Polish capital group. There will be an opportunity for students of the Faculty of Economics, as well as of other teaching units of the University, to receive internships and work experience at PHH, and there is an initiative to launch an original postgraduate course in hotel management. In turn, the teaching staff will be able to organise various initiatives with PHH, such as seminars or scientific conferences based on joint research in the social sciences, underlined dr hab. Marcin Ratajczak, Prof. SGGW, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, SGGW.
Our organisation continues to support young people entering the labour market. This time, students from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences will start their internships in our prestigious hotels, where they will be able to learn the secrets of hotel management under the careful supervision of our staff. I am also pleased that, as part of this co-operation, an original post-graduate course in hotel management will be established, where experienced personnel from our company will act as lecturers. I am convinced that thanks to our cooperation with SGGW we will have a real impact on the education of the next generation of hoteliers, said Gheorghe Marian Cristescu, President of the Management Board of Polski Holding Hotelowy.
The cooperation will result in an original postgraduate course in hotel management at the Faculty of Economics, where experienced PHH staff will transfer their knowledge. Moreover, as a part of the cooperation SGGW and PHH will organise courses, seminars, scientific conferences, conduct research and improve methods related to the training process in that area.
