SGGW scientists at environmental resource management conference
SGGW Scientists delivered important messages at the conference on shaping economic policy to preserve the natural environment for future generations
The conference held on 19 March at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) was part of a wider discussion on the sustainable management of natural resources.
Three SGGW scientists presented fascinating papers during the conference:
Prof. dr hab. Mohamed Hazem Kalaji, Institute of Biology, gave a presentation titled ‘Photosynthesis may prevent social and economic impacts of climate change, help green energy development and food production optimization’.
Dr hab. inż.Beata Fornal-Pieniak, SGGW Professor, Institute of Horticultural Sciences, gave a presentation titled ‘Man-Forest-Biodiversity. Contemporary challenges for cities and rural areas’.
Dr hab. Marcin Gołębiewski, SGGW Professor, Institute of Animal Sciences presented a paper titled ‘Sustainable food production vs. food security – major challenges’.
