SGGW gains funds from the “Solidarni z Ukrainą” program
The Warsaw University of Life Sciences is on the list of beneficiaries of The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA program, “Solidarni z Ukrainą” (Solidarity with Ukraine).
SGGW intends to dedicate the acquired funds for organizing the Polish language courses for Ukrainian refugees. Following the “Solidarni z Ukrainą” program, Ukrainian refugees, i.e., students and PhD students will be able to study in Poland, conduct their works regarding a doctoral dissertation or participate in other forms of education (language or preparatory courses) between March and September 2022.
Moreover, apart from the exemption from tuition fees, the program participants are to be paid a scholarship. The resources for the implementation of the “Solidarni z Ukrainą” program will allow to finance the stay of approximately 1,320 scholarship holders.
Let us remind you that the Warsaw University of Life Sciences has launched its own program “SGGW helps Ukraine“. The program aims to support SGGW partner universities in Ukraine, with which our university has been cooperating for many years.
