SGGW among the World’s Top Universities

SGGW has been ranked among the top 6.3% of the world’s universities, according to the latest prestigious Center for World University Rankings 2024. Such a significant accomplishment confirms the high quality of education and research activities at SGGW.

The Centre for World University Rankings (CWUR) publishes the only academic ranking of global universities that assesses the quality of education, alumni employment, quality of faculty, and research performance without relying on surveys and university data submissions.

Nearly 21,000 universities were reviewed. SGGW was ranked 1311th internationally, in the general classification. In the research category, our university was ranked 1259th, whereas, in the classification of the European universities, it was 469th place. Finally, SGGW was highly ranked in the 22nd position in the national classification.

The SGGW Rector, prof. dr hab. Michał Zasada, commented on the ranking results: “SGGW is constantly striving to ensure the highest quality of education and research, which contributes to the success of our graduates and the scientific development“.

The good ranking results demonstrate the university’s staff’s commitment to providing students and researchers with an excellent educational and research environment. SGGW offers a wide range of study areas, and its lecturers are experts in their fields.
