Patent Attorney
Patent service at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences is currently provided by the WTS Patent Attorneys Witek, Śnieżko and Partners legal office. This service applies to:
application and registration proceedings before the Polish Patent Office and in the EPO and PCT procedures;
carrying out patent searches to determine the state of the art for specific technical solutions being the subject of design studies;
carrying out tests of patent and registration capacity, protection capacity for solutions that are to apply for protection in Poland and abroad;
mediation in the maintenance of protection of inventions, utility models, industrial designs, trademarks, geographical and topographic indications.

Procedure for submitting creative results
patent applications
are held through CIITT, in accordance with the Regulations on the management of copyrights, related rights and industrial property rights and the principles of commercialization at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
Description of the state of the art
There is a possibility of commissioning the Patent Office research on the state of the art .
For this purpose, please provide:
a brief description of the invention in a form that allows to determine what, in the opinion of the Authors, is its essence;
copies of: scientific publications and patents that describe the most similar solutions (according to the Authors’ best knowledge) and all Authors’ publications on topics directly related to the invention (such publications may also include conference speeches, posters, abstracts, doctoral or master’s theses if they took the form of public presentations).
