Principles and form of internship implementation
The student is practicing for 10 hours. The internship is carried out under the supervision of a lecturer in a shelter for homeless animals. The term of the internship is agreed individually with the Lecturer. The practice consists in working with dogs showing behavioral problems under the supervision of the Lecturer and ends with a grade
The method of verifying the achieved learning outcomes
As part of individual subjects, credit is given on the basis of assessment of attendance (min. 80%) and activity in classes. The attendance is verified on the lists of attendance, exceeding the limit of admissible absences, if it is a justified case, results in the necessity to pass the course individually in agreement with the teacher. Obtaining a credit in a course is not accompanied by a grade. If at least one subject is not passed, the student is not admitted to the final exam. Verification of the assumed learning outcomes for the subjects listed in the study plan in point 1-9, is made during the final exam. The exam covers: one issue from the subjects listed in point 1 – 4 (random selection), two topics from the subjects listed in point 5 – 9 (random selection).
