New studies: ZOOPSYCHOLOGY – dog behavior problems.

Dogs are the most popular and most common animals in our homes. They perform various utility functions in our country, from guarding houses or facilities, through protecting herds, to searching for people who have suffered during disasters or buried under avalanches. However, the primary function of most of them is to function as companion animals – friends of people. Dogs, however, often cause many problems for their owners: they are aggressive or timid, they bite or jump at people, they bark for no reason or they go to the house. These are just some of the behavioral problems that keep happy owners from sleep … That is why the idea of organizing postgraduate studies dealing with the issues of dog behavior was born.
The studies are aimed at people interested in deepening their knowledge about dog behavior and treatment of undesirable behaviors. We invite people with undergraduate (engineering) education, preferably with a biological profile (veterinary, animal science, biology, psychology), and in the case of education with a different profile, with completed postgraduate studies or specialist courses in the field of cynology and experience in working with animals (breeding, working with animals). prepared for adoption in a shelter, foundation or association, etc., running a temporary home, participation in a training course, dog therapy course, running a school for dogs, etc.).
