Announcement for Candidates qualified for first cycle studies
Candidates qualified for admission to studies conducted in English are invited to submit documents between September 2 – 5, 2024, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Documents should be submitted to the university’s headquarters at 166 Nowoursynowska Street, building 8, room 2, ground floor (entrance A).
Please take with you a complete set of required documents, in accordance with the guidelines on the website. List of documents for first-cycle studies (Bachelor’s degree) and long-cycle master’s studies:
- Polish citizens check the list of required documents
- Foreigners check the list of required documents
Please note that in the case of a name change, you must present an appropriate document confirming the change.
CANDIDATES QUALIFIED FOR MORE THAN ONE FIELD OF STUDY
Candidates qualified for more than one field of study submit documents for one field of study.
Candidates qualified for admission in previous phases of recruitment, who submitted documents and have the status of being accepted – may submit documents for the course they were accepted, under condition that they will resign from the previously selected course. These persons are obliged to submit documents to the University again by the above deadline.
UNDERAGE CANDIDATES
In the case of underage candidates, the written consent of both parents or legal guardians is required, among others: to participate in recruitment, start studies and sign an agreement/declaration on reading and accepting the terms of payment for studies at SGGW.
In case of:
- absence of parents during the personal submission of documents, the candidate is obliged to present the parents’ consent certified by a notary public or by a Polish diplomatic and consular post (the notary public or the Polish consul certifies the authenticity of the signatures of the parents/legal guardians placed on the document),
- the presence of parents during the submission of documents by the candidate, parents sign the consent in the presence of the employee accepting the documents.
ATTENTION! The submission of consent does not apply to applicants who turn 18 before October 1, 2024.
The birth certificate or a court order granting parental rights must be provided.

THE WAY OF SUBMITTING DOCUMENTS
Documents should be submitted to the seat of the University in following way:
- in person – this way is obligatory for foreigners who currently stay in Poland, documents must be delivered to ul. Nowoursynowska 166, building no 8, room no. 2, entrance A from the front of the building,
- via post / courier – applies to foreigners who are not staying in Poland, documents must be sent to the address (if you send documents by post/courier, it is suggested to post them as soon as possible, i.e. by September 1, 2024):

When preparing documents to be submitted in person, remember to:
- Printing the Personal questionnaire with an accepted photo – a printout, available for download as a PDF file on the candidate’s account at IRK in the “Enrollment applications” tab in the “Documents and further steps” section (proof of identity must be presented for inspection when submitting documents in person). Before printing the personal questionnaire, check whether it contains errors. The candidate must sign the printed questionnaire in the lower right corner in the space for legible signature.
- If you are a foreigner, also print the following documents available for download on the candidate’s account in IRK in the “Enrollment applications” tab in the “Documents and further steps” section: “Statement for non nationals on fulfillment of requirements for undertaking study on specific rules” and “Declaration on health insurance during studying”. Sign both documents with your full name and complete the date and place of signing.
- Taking with you original documents on education and a language certificate – if required. You should also remember to take photocopies of these documents because it will not be possible to make a photocopy on site at the University. The university employee accepting the documents will certify the photocopies of the documents to be true to the original on the basis of the submitted originals, then the original documents will be returned to the Candidate.
- Taking an identity document – valid passport (if the candidate is a foreigner). The document should be presented to the person accepting the documents in order to confirm the identity.
- If you are a underage person, remember to attach the consent of both parents / legal guardians to undertake studies and sign a contract with the University, such consent must be confirmed by a notary or by a Polish consul. Unauthorized document will not be accepted.

- Attaching notarized copies of documents on education (high school leaving certificate /university diploma) and a language certificate. Due to security reasons do not send originals of this documents. Non-notarized copies will be rejected. Original of high school leaving certificate, English language certificate and valid passport must be presented in the Office for Students Affairs upon your arrival.
- If you are a foreigner, be sure to attach a regular photocopy of your passport, which will be destroyed after verification of your identity.
- If you are a underage person, remember to attach the consent of both parents / legal guardians to undertake studies and sign a contract with the University, such consent must be confirmed by a notary or by a Polish consul. Unauthorized document will not be accepted.
FAILURE TO SUBMIT DOCUMENTS WITHIN THE INDICATED DEADLINE
Candidates qualified for admission who do not submit documents within the prescribed period are treated as persons resigning from participation in recruitment.
