In this year’s edition of the QS Emerging Europe and Central Asia (EECA) University Rankings – one of the most prestigious rankings in the world – the Warsaw University of Life Sciences was classified at 94. position. This is 7 places higher than last year.
The ranking included 400 universities from Eastern and Central Europe and Central Asia. The leader of the region, as in previous years, turned out to be the oldest Russian university – University of M. Lomonosov in Moscow. There are 25 universities in Poland on the list. WULS-SGGW was ranked 16 among them. place.
Regional Rankings Emerging Europe and Central Asia has been published since 2014 as part of QS World University Rankings. Ten indicators are used to carry out the analysis, including: evaluation of academic staff, employers’ reputation, the ratio of the number of employees to the number of students, the level of internationalization, the number of employees with a doctoral degree, publications and citations, or participation in international research teams.
