Professor Krzysztof Anusz, a member of the newly established State Council for Nature Conservation (PROP) under the Ministry of Climate and Environment
The Minister for Climate and Environment, Paulina Hennig-Kloska, established the State Council for Nature Protection on 20 March 2024. The PROP is a consultative and advisory body for nature protection, operating under the minister in charge of the environment.
A total of 40 people have been appointed to PROP. The members include scientists, environmentalists, botanists, and foresters. Professor Anusz, Head of the Department of Food Hygiene and Public Health Protection, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, SGGW, also received a nomination to the Council. Professor has been involved in international and domestic cooperation regarding veterinary medicine for many years, including non-domestic animal disease, and nature conservation, with particular attention to bison health and welfare issues.
