Professor Agnieszka Gniazdowska-Piekarska, Head of the Institute of Biology appointed to the National Development Council
President Andrzej Duda has appointed new members to the National Development Council. The nomination for the Council for Higher Education, Science and Innovation was given to prof. dr hab. Agnieszka Gniazdowska-Piekarska, the Head of the Institute of Biology, Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
Let us remind you that the nomination for the Council for Higher Education, Science and Innovation was also given to prof. dr. Stanisław Karpiński, SGGW.
The National Council acts as a consultative forum for the Polish government, and carries out its tasks through the council’s activities that bring together experts, theoreticians and practitioners representing various environments and specializations, and constitute an advisory base for the President of the Republic of Poland in the indicated areas.
The program work of the National Development Council is coordinated by the Convention of the National Development Council chaired by the Secretary of the National Council. The National Council’s Convention consists of the Secretary of the National Council and the chairpersons of the councils.
