New wayfinding system of the WePoint
New WePoint wayfinding system has been implemented at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW, the purpose of which is to make the WePoint more visible in the external and internal space of the SGGW Main Library and to ensure its recognition among foreigners and the academic community of the university.
Wayfinding system consists of: a new totem, updated Polish-English graphics in totems giving directions to WePoint, WePoint illuminated outdoor signboard on the facade of the SGGW Main Library building, WePoint ledon inside the SGGW Main Library building, wall and floor signage inside the SGGW Main Library building.
Implementation of the wayfinding system was divided into two phases:
- development of the concept;
- production, delivery and installation of the wayfinding system;
New wayfinding system is a continuation of the SGGW’s visual communication, its openness to foreigners and building their sense of belonging.
Development of the WePoint wayfinding system was one of the tasks of the WELCOME TO SGGW project implemented as part of the Welcome to Poland program, co-financed by the European Social Fund under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development, a non-competitive project entitled “Improving the competences of the academic staff and the potential of institutions in accepting people from abroad – Welcome to Poland” (Task: 3.3 Internationalization of Polish higher education), specified in the application for co-financing of the project no. POWR.03.03.00-00-PN14/18.
