NATIONAL SCIENCE CENTER – MINIATURE 4

The Office of Science and National Projects, Section for National Projects reminds you of the ongoing MINIATURE 4 competition, to which applications for the implementation may be submitted single scientific activity in one of the following forms: preliminary / pilot research, inquiry, research internship, research trip or consultation trip. The main goal of the competition is to provide financial support for a scientific activity for the preparation of a future research project planned for submission to NCN calls , other national or international competitions. The call for proposals provides funding in the amount of PLN 5,000 to 50,000 for the implementation of a scientific activity lasting up to 12 months. The entity in which the researcher is employed may apply for funds:

  1. with at least one published work or, in the case of scientific activity in the field of creativity and art: at least one artistic or artistic-scientific achievement;
  2. who obtained the doctoral degree no earlier than January 1, 2008. This period may be extended in accordance with the principles set out in § 4 point 5 lit. and the terms and conditions of the MINIATURE competition for scientific activity.

The Council of the National Science Center determined the amount of financial resources allocated to the implementation of scientific activities under the MINIATURE 4 call in the amount of PLN 15 million .

The application should be submitted only in electronic form via the ZSUN / OSF system, available at https://osf.opi.org.pl , according to the application procedure .

The call for applications is carried out in the period from June 1 to September 30, 2020

NOTE: The call for proposals in the ZSUN / OSF system closes at 16:00.

The call for proposals may be suspended if the total amount of the requested funding exceeds twice the amount of funds allocated by the NCN Council for the implementation of research activities under the call.

Please note that in the MINIATURE 4 competition, the conditions that must be met by a person designated as carrying out a scientific activity were changed.
