Description of direction
Students are equipped with a broad theoretical basis of economic sciences. They also gain practical knowledge in the area of supplementary disciplines, which enables them to carry out analyzes of the functioning of the company and its environment. The study program is complemented by issues related to the food sector and agribusiness. Students gain knowledge in the field of managing financial, human and material resources, they also learn to use analytical methods to study economic phenomena and processes and model their course on a micro- and macroeconomic scale. Graduates have thorough economic knowledge and skills necessary to perform the profession of economist – specialist in the field of managing financial, human and material resources. They can use advanced analytical methods to study the phenomena and processes occurring in the modern economy, open to international and global competition.
The study program includes:
FIRST CYCLE STUDIES: mathematics, statistics, micro and macroeconomics, accounting, economic analysis of enterprises, economics of European integration, financial markets.
SECOND CYCLE STUDIES: economics, management accounting, insurance systems, forecasting economic processes, economic law. Depending on the level and form of studies, students can broaden their knowledge of the following topics:

• organization and economics of agribusiness,
• economics of the public sector,
