Description of direction
These are natural and technical studies, the program of which covers basic natural disciplines (biology, chemistry, environmental knowledge) and professional knowledge in the field of plant and animal production, economics and organization of farms, markets for agricultural products and applications of computer science in agriculture. Students can choose from, among others The following thematic blocks of subjects: animal production, modern plant production and the environment, the circulation of elements in the environment, agribusiness economics, biological progress in agriculture, information systems in agriculture.
Agriculture graduates are experts in agricultural production technology (primarily
plant). They are prepared to run a farm independently, as well as to work in agricultural services and advisory. In addition, they learn to use techniques
information, agricultural production management and control as well as knowledge of the use and functioning of agricultural infrastructure.
