Euroleague for Life Sciences: network development and new directions for action
Rectors of universities affiliated with the Euroleague for Life Sciences met at the SGGW Training and Recreation Center in Kociszewo, to discuss strategic documents and set priorities for the next five years of cooperation.
Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS) is a network of leading universities cooperating in environmental sciences, natural resource management, agricultural and forestry, life sciences, veterinary medicine, and food sciences.
In February 2025, rectors from the ELLS met at the SGGW Training and Recreation Center in Kociszewo to discuss basic strategic documents and set priorities for cooperation over the next five years.
Taking into account the recent expansion of ELLS to include 5 new partners (L’Institut Agro Montpellier, Estonian University of Life Sciences, Norwegian University of Life Science: GreenSmart, University of Lleida, University of Viterbo “La Tuscia”), the rectors stressed the need to develop a new structure and management principles for the network.
Work on the new strategy will continue with a Task Force group at Lincoln University (New Zealand) as early as mid-March. The team includes the Vice-Rector for Internationalization, Dr. Marta Mendel.
