Dr Artur Wiktor became a member of The Polish Young Academy at PAS
Dr. Eng. Artur Wiktor from the Department of Food Engineering and Production Organization at the Institute of Food Sciences, SGGW, became a member of the Polish Young Academy at Polish Academy of Sciences.
The18 new members were elected during the session of the General Assembly of the Polish Academy of Sciences. It was agreed that individual divisions may indicate the following number of candidates:
Division I: Humanities and Social Sciences 3,
Division II: Biological and Agricultural Sciences – 4,
Division III: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Earth Sciences – 5,
Division IV: Engineering Sciences – 4,
Division V: Medical Sciences – 2.
Dr. Artur Wiktor is a member of the Division II: Biological and Agricultural Science at PAS.
The Polish Young Academy was established in 2010 to promote research and development work carried out by outstanding young representatives of Polish sciences. Members are elected by the General Assembly of the Polish Academy of Sciences. When elected, they are at most 38 years old and have a doctorate degree. Moreover, they need to have some outstanding scientific achievements and be active in promoting science.
