"Difficult behaviors and emotions - what to do and how to deal with them. Mental well-being of students. Disabilities are around us”.
On 27th of November, the first online meeting for SGGW English-speaking students, called “Difficult behaviors and emotions – what to do and how to deal with them. Mental well-being of students. Disabilities are around us” was held.
The program consisted of:
• Talking about “invisible disabilities” – mental illnesses.
• Definition of mental health
• The main problems and causes of student`s mental health
• Preventing mental health
• Dealing with difficult emotions and behaviours
• Ways of psychological help for students
During the meeting students:
• Had a chance to know how to take care of their mental health and how to deal with mental problems,
• Found out when it is good to ask for help and where they can find free psychological help,
• Learned what to do when they notice a change in theirs’s or theirs’s friends behaviours and emotions and how they can support a person that struggle mentally
There was also a possibility to ask questions. Workshop was prepared and conducted by:
