DIN-ECO is thrilled to announce its upcoming cycle of seminars designed to guide learners on their entrepreneurship journey. This series of five seminars will be delivered online every Friday, starting from November 3rd to December 1st, 2023, at 10:00 AM (CET).
These seminars are tailored for students and scientific professionals, aiming to provide them with the tools, knowledge, and insights required to thrive in the entrepreneurial world. Participants will not only gain invaluable knowledge but will also receive a certificate of attendance upon completion.
Here’s the schedule of the upcoming DIN-ECO seminars:
- November 3rd – Communication Skills by A.B. iED: This interactive course about communication skills in entrepreneurship is designed to enhance and foster the essential communication skills needed for successful entrepreneurs. The course focuses on key communication skills such as effective networking, negotiation, persuasive abilities, public speaking, presentation skills, non-verbal communication, and active listening. It incorporates a variety of learning methods, including mini-lectures, reflection exercises, and assessments to ensure active engagement and real-world application of acquired skills.
- November 10th – Design Thinking by UNI: The course provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles and practices of design thinking, with a focus on its application in entrepreneurship. Throughout the course, students will learn about the user-centred approach to design thinking, which involves empathizing with users, defining the problem space, ideating and brainstorming potential solutions, prototyping and testing those solutions, and iterating based on user feedback. In addition to the core principles of design thinking, the course will also cover how design thinking can be integrated into business model development and strategic decision-making in entrepreneurship. Students will learn how to create value propositions and business canvas models using design thinking techniques and apply design thinking to develop innovative business models. By the end of the course, students will have a deep understanding of the design thinking process and how it can be applied in entrepreneurship. They will be equipped with the tools and techniques needed to create user-centred products and services that drive innovation and meet the needs of their customers.
- November 17th – Formation of Business Idea / Business Idea Generation by MSKU: The core of successful entrepreneurs lies in both the strength of the business idea and the resources that entrepreneurs bring to the table. This course allows learners/participants to develop skills to build on their ideas and resources to gain confidence about investing and successfully launch their own startups, independent from external funding opportunities
- November 24th – Project Design and Implementation by AAU: This lecture will delve into the practical aspects of finding and organizing a project, planning resources effectively, and implementing those resources to successfully accomplish your project goals. Furthermore, you’ll explore an intriguing case study where a master’s thesis evolved into a research and demonstration project. This transformation not only expanded the scope of the work but also opened the door to potential business opportunities.
- December 1st – Technology Transfer from Science Sector to Business by UNIBO: A seminar that bridges the gap between scientific research and its practical application in the business world.
