Cumman Warsaw GAA has won the European Gaelic Football Championship

The great success of the Cumman GAA men and ladies football  teams

Everybody knows that studying is a time for acquiring knowledge and professional competencies, but let’s not forget about enjoyment, such as sports.

On 15 April 2023, the teams from Vienna, Zurich, Munich, Berlin, Rome, Milan, and Warsaw participated in the  European Gaelic Football Championship.

The Cumman GAA Cumman GAA team won the international Gaelic Football championship; both in the Ladies’ and Gentlemen’s competition. In the case of the ladies’ competition, the success is all the greater as Teams Warsaw A and Warsaw B met in the finals.

The core of the Cumman GAA teams consists of students from Ireland studying at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
