Visitors from abroad
Visiting professors
The International Cooperation Office informs about the possibility of co-financing the stay at SGGW of professors from abroad (foreigners) who meet the criteria contained in the Regulation No. 64 of the Rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences dated 18/12/2019
Applications for co-financing (Annex 1 to the above-mentioned Regulation) should be submitted to the International Cooperation Office by April 30 of each year for the next academic year.
The inviting unit takes care of the professor, along with the organization of the stay.
Trainees
In order to invite a foreign intern, a letter should be prepared to the Rector with a request for the intern’s consent to stay signed by the Director of the Institute and the academic tutor.
It is suggested that the following information should be included in the application:
- trainee data (name, surname, university name and academic position)
- date of stay
- data of the academic tutor
- information that the internship will take place without payment for education and scholarship benefits from our University (does not apply to interns at the I. Wyhowski award)
- possibly a request for consent to be allocated accommodation in a Dormitory. Eden from the pool of places of the Rector’s Housing Commission
The letter should be sent via EZD system to BWM mailbox or submitted to the International Relations Office – WePoint (building 48, entrance C)
