Departures of academic teachers for the purpose of conducting didactic classes
General conditions of departure
- The exchange of academic teachers under the Erasmus + Program Program Countries may be carried out only with universities from EU Member States, European Economic Area countries – Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Turkey and Macedonia as candidate countries, holding an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education , ECHE) valid in the 2020/21 academic year, with which WULS-SGGW has signed bilateral agreements providing for the exchange of academic teachers. The purpose of the trip of an academic teacher is to conduct at least 8 hours of didactic classes for students of the partner university.
- Mobility can be achieved: traditionally – stationary, completely virtually with Polish – virtual/remote/online mobility or mixed/hybrid – blended mobility
- The decision to take the chosen form of departure must be agreed between all three parties – the sending institution, the host institution and the participant before the start of the mobility period.
- Before leaving, the academic teacher is obliged to define the teaching program implemented in a foreign university by completing the document “Staff Mobility for Teaching – Mobility Agreement”, which must be approved by both the SGGW and the receiving university, regardless of the form of mobility implementation.
- Candidates are required to speak English or the language of lecture of the receiving university to the extent that they are able to teach freely.
- A stay at a partner university of an academic teacher or classes conducted remotely by a qualified participant must start and end between 1 October 2020 and 1 October 2020. until 30.09.2021
- Candidates will be eligible for more than one trip if the total number of candidates for trips is less than the expected number of trips to be completed in 2020/21.
- In a situation where after 30/09/2021 there are free funds in the Erasmus + 2020 budget for teachers’ trips, the deadline for these trips is extended to 30/05/2022
- Granted number of trips in the project 2020 – 65. If the erasmus+ 2020 budget remains free, the number of trips will increase.
- Applications for educational trips should be submitted by 30/12/2020.
- In the event of not using all the places or funds, the recruitment will be carried out continuously, considered sequentially at the end of each month until the funds are used up. In this case, the documents must be submitted no later than 1.5 months before the departure date.
Grounds for qualification for departure
The basis for the qualification for the trip for the purpose of carrying out the teaching classes will be the submission of the application form by the teacher, which must be accompanied by: the initial consent of the partner university for the implementation of teaching mobility or the completed Staff Mobility for Teaching – Mobility Agreement (individual curriculum) form and the signed FORM GDPR.

Priority will be given to the submissions of persons who:
- leaving for the first time
- in previous years, they did not use this form of trips and people,
- with a shorter work record
- which will have the details of their stay agreed with the partner institution at the time of applying to the program
- the justification for departure will also be taken into account in the application form.
Rules for the organization of STA trips
The required length of departure is from 2 days stay (full days) without travel days. In the case of traditional mobility, the grant is awarded for a maximum of 5 days of stay and for travel costs according to the flat rates specified in point Ⅱ. 4.
For planned longer trips, more than 5 days, the subsidy for days above the fifth is zero.
At the time of departure, the academic teacher is obliged to carry out the mines. 8 hours of lectures for a stay of up to 7 days. If the stay exceeds one week, the number of hours of teaching activities to be completed must be proportionally more.
A written agreement will be drawn up with an employee qualified for an Erasmus+ STA trip setting out the conditions for departure and settlement.
Departure settlement rules
In order to settle the trip, the academic teacher is obliged to obtain at the end of his stay at the receiving university a document confirming his stay and implementation of the program, together with information on the number of hours of teaching classes carried out and the form of implementation.
The teacher is required to complete the online questionnaire in the Mobility Tool, on the website of the European Commission.
The academic teacher is obliged to insu insured himself for the duration of travel and stay in the destination country. The costs of insurance shall be borne by the employee. If you travel to a European Union country, you must create your own European Health Insurance Card or, as in the case of a trip to an EU affiliated country, take out health insurance with any insurer of your choice. It is recommended to buy oc and NNW policies.
Trips of SGGW employees for training purposes
General conditions of departure
- Exchange of employees for training purposes under the Erasmus + Program Program Countries may be carried out only with institutions / enterprises from EU Member States, European Economic Area countries – Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Turkey and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia as candidate countries.
- The purpose of the employee’s departure is to participate in training aimed at raising qualifications related to the nature of the work performed at SGGW. Before leaving, the employee is obliged to define the training program to be carried out at the partner institution by completing the “Staff Mobility for Training – Mobility Agreement” document, which must be approved by both WULS-SGGW and the host institution. In the training program, it is necessary to present the assumed goals, expected results, a detailed training program and the employee’s tasks.
- Mobility can be implemented: traditionally – stationary, completely virtually from Poland – virtual / remote / online mobility or in a mixed / hybrid variant – blended mobility.
- The decision to take the chosen form of departure must be agreed between all three parties – the sending institution, the host institution and the participant before the start of the mobility period.
Grounds for qualification for departure
- A training trip (STT) under the Erasmus + program may be applied by a person who is an employee of WULS-SGGW employed under an employment contract.
- WULS-SGGW employee may take advantage of Erasmus + training trips not more than once a year.
- The candidate is required to know the foreign language in which the training will be conducted to the extent that it allows easy communication.
- The stay in the partner institution of an employee qualified for the trip must start and end in the period from October 1, 2020. until September 30, 2021
- In a situation where after 30/09/2021 there are free funds in the Erasmus + 2020 budget for training trips, the deadline for these trips is extended to 30/05/2022
- The basis for qualifying an employee for a training trip will be the assessment of the expected benefits from the trip for the employee indicated in the application form
- Priority will be given to applications from persons who:
- are not academic teachers,
- they are leaving for the first time
- in previous years, they did not use this form of travel
- with a shorter work record
- will have the details of their stay agreed with the partner institution at the time of applying to the program.
- Trips to conferences and seminars are not possible.
- From the pool of places allocated for training trips in 2020/21, 3 places may be used by teaching staff. The remaining pool is intended for administrative employees of various units of SGGW.
- Applications for the trip should be made by submitting the completed Staff Mobility for Training – Mobility Agreement form (individual training program) and the GDPR form, initial approval from the host institution or confirmation of application for training.

- Granted number of trips in 2019 / 20–8 If there are remaining funds in the Erasmus + 2020 budget, the number of departures will increase.
- The call for applications for training trips lasts until 30/12/2020 . In the event of vacancies or unused funds, after this date, the recruitment will be carried out continuously, considered sequentially, at the end of each month until the funds are used up.
Rules for the organization of trips STT
- The required length of the trip is a minimum of 4 days of stay (full days), excluding travel days . The grant is granted for a maximum of 10 days of stay and for travel costs according to the rates specified in point 3.
In the case of planned longer trips, over 10 days, the funding is zero. - A written contract specifying the conditions of the trip will be drawn up with an employee qualified for an STT mobility under the Erasmus + program.
- The required length of the trip is a minimum of 4 days of stay (full days), excluding travel days . The grant is granted for a maximum of 10 days of stay and for travel costs according to the rates specified in point 3.
Departure settlement rules
- In order to settle the trip, the employee is obliged to obtain at the end of the stay at the host institution a document confirming his stay and implementation of the program, regardless of the form of mobility.
- The employee is obliged to complete an individual report on-line EU survey no later than 30 days from the date of receipt of the request for its submission.
- The employee is obliged to take out insurance for the period of travel and stay in the destination country. The costs of insurance shall be borne by the employee. If you travel to a European Union country, you must create your own European Health Insurance Card or, as in the case of a trip to an EU affiliated country, take out health insurance with any insurer of your choice. It is recommended to buy oc and NNW policies.

Caution : The distance of the trip determines the distance in a straight line between the home university and the host institution, and the amount contributed to the travel grant to and from the destination.
Co-financing rules:
- The final grant amount will be calculated as follows: the sum of the product of the number of mobility days (excluding travel days) and the daily rate for the host country, plus the lump sum specified for the journey.
- The co-financing received by the employee is intended for co-financing the costs related to the travel and stay in the partner institution. The funding is complementary and does not have to cover the full cost of the trip.
- You may not apply for other funding from other funds (EU and non-EU) to cover similar travel expenses.
- In the case of virtual mobility, erasmus+ stay and travel grants are not eligible.
- In the case of hybrid mobility, the duration of the Polish mobility in remote form is not funded by Erasmus+, the participant receives a grant for stay only for the actual duration of the stay in the partner institution and a lump sum for travel subsidies.

- Payment of the grant granted takes place on the basis of a payment order to be executed in a bank in the territory of SGGW – Bank Pekao S.A. Nowoursynowska 166, 02-787 Warsaw, according to the following scheme: 80 % before departure, 20 % after return and settlement of departure.
