CoAdapt project cooperation with Norwegian researchers
Dr hab. Agata Cieszewska and a team of scientists from the SGGW Department of Landscape Architecture carried out a study trip (7-10 March 2024) to Tromso under the CoAdapt project
The purpose of the trip was to work intensively on the project’s results, using the analysis of good practices as an incentive element for climate change adaptation measures, preparing publications on research findings and discussing the final testing phase of the ‘Osiedle z klimatem’ game – the project’s main product.
The event was attended by 17 people (including 3 online). There were two representatives of the Norwegian partners and 15 representatives of the Polish partners. Tromso welcomed us with two metre high snowdrifts and the northern lights.
The CoAdapt „Communities for Climate Change Action” project receives funding worth €1.49 million provided by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway within the EEA funds. The project operator is NCBiR [the National Centre for Research and Development]. The project is co-financed up to 15% by the state budget.
