Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) is the oldest and the best natural and agricultural university in Poland. It educates nearly 16,000 students in 40 fields of study (including 9 in English) - from veterinary medicine and landscape architecture, through economics and IT, to dietetics and organic agriculture and food production. This year's recruitment starts on June 7.

Workshop: “How to write a good abstract for a scientific conference?”

We would like to sincerely invite students of the Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS) to the workshop: "How to write a good abstract for a scientific conference?" The workshop will be held by Professor Mariantonietta Fiore from the Università di Foggia in Italy. Workshop will be conducted online on 31 May 2021 at 2.00 pm via MS Teams. Link to the workshop will be sent to registered participants in the morning of the day of the event. It is not required to have a Microsoft account - the access will be possible via a web browser.

ZOOM meeting: Prejudice, racism and hate crimes. How to react?

We invite all foreign students to a meeting at which we will inform students about the rights related to crimes motivated by prejudices based on nationality, ethnicity, "race", religion and about the support that can be obtained as part of the Association for Legal Intervention activities. Meeting is organized by Warsaw University of Life Sciences and Association for Legal Intervention. Registration is needed, open till May 24th.

Artificial digestive tract at INŻCZ SGGW

The Warsaw University of Life Sciences is the first university in Poland to have a dynamic model of the artificial gastrointestinal tract. Apparatus allowing for a very faithful imitation and monitoring of the processes taking place in the stomach, small intestine and large intestine in controlled conditions will be used for the research work of the Institute of Human Nutrition Sciences.
