The SGGW authorities met with the Ankara Üniversitesi representatives

Professor Stanisław Karpiński, Institute of Biology SGGW appointed to the Council of the National Science Centre. Twelve new members of the Council were appointed by the Minister of Education and Science.

The event will be an opportunity to learn about the mission, goals and values of the The Green European University alliance - UNIgreen Join us in the Inaugural Conference of the UNIgreen project, which aims to present the mission, goals and values of The Green European University - UNIgreen alliance, created as part of the "European Universities" initiative.

President Andrzej Duda has appointed new members to the National Development Council. The nomination for the Council for Higher Education, Science and Innovation was given to prof. dr hab. Agnieszka Gniazdowska-Piekarska, the Head of the Institute of Biology, Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

On 15 December 2022, the awarding ceremony of the Faculty of Biological and Agricultural Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences for 2022 took place in the Erazm Majewski Hall, at the Staszic Palace in Warsaw. By Resolution No. 1/2022, the Presidium of the Chapter of the Medal of Michał Oczapowski of 25 August 2022, the Faculty of Horticulture, Warsaw University of Life Sciences was recognized with the Medal of Michał Oczapowski.

Between 29 November and 1 December 2022 a group of SGGW representatives participated in the international scientific conference "Human rights in the teachings of John Paul II" organized by the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and Roma Tre University in Rome. The visit was connected with the 20th anniversary of the conferment of the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences to John Paul II.

NCN (the National Science Centre) has announced the list of recipients of funds for the cost of research. Young scientists from the SGGW Doctoral School received grants for their research projects in the PRELUDIUM call for proposals

The eighth edition of the international conference for leaders in university management – LUMEN 2022. The conference was held in the online formula and will be combined with an award ceremony for Polish universities classified in the most prestigious ranking of universities in the world – THE World University Rankings 2022.

An intelligent research infrastructure will be located at the SGGW Experimental Forest District in Rogów, allowing remote management and detailed crop monitoring, as a result of the cooperation between the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and T-Mobile Polska.
