Another ELLS conference is behind us!
Each year, within the collaborative network of Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS), a scientific conference takes place. This year, the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart hosted the event.
ELLS, a consortium of leading agricultural and life sciences universities, aims to develop and implement joint research and educational programs, facilitate student and academic staff mobility, and ensure high-quality teaching. The educational programs offered by ELLS member universities include mutually recognized master’s programs with ECTS credits and short-term joint programs conducted during Summer Schools. One of the organization’s goals is to implement joint master’s programs with mutual recognition of diplomas.
On November 16 and 17, 2023, the ELLS General Assembly and Forum on “Communicating (about) Biodiversity” brought together board members and staff.
Following this, on November 17 and 18, the ELLS Scientific Student Conference 2023, themed “The Power of Science – Many Perspectives on our World,” took place.
The conference focused on the potency of science as a crucial tool for addressing contemporary challenges. It encouraged reflection on how acquired knowledge can contribute to improving people’s quality of life and shaping a better future for the global society. The event provided a platform for participants from various European natural science universities to present their findings, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange. Topics covered biology, agriculture, environmental sciences, and more, reflecting the diverse interests of the future generation of scientists.
Congratulations to our students for their participation in this prestigious conference! Your scientific involvement underscores the high standard of our academic community. We take pride in your achievements and dedication to advancing knowledge. You have wonderfully represented our university!
